I read the paper
What was proper
The once beautiful
With people dutiful
Alotau

The people so kind
The culture so fine
The villages pristine
The ocean divine
The land fertile
The environment fragile
Alotau

We ask for peace
But where is our peace
We seek justice
But there is no justice
Alotau

Come say a prayer
There is power
There is hope
Don't you mope
If you can't cope
Alotau

Take them guns
Take them punks
Show them face
