The Atlantic Alliance is in tatters now.

Australia and New Zealand are better placed to focus on trade driven diplomacy inclinations with China than the fading supreme leadership from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

And now we appear to have Iran bombing US oil tankers in the Middle East joining in the balance of power play. Abe, from Japan, has even attempted to try to ease the tension.

And one of our own PNG writers is over there in Tehran at a world meeting on innovation and nano technology. He is being shown what a wonderful place Iran is, a lovely peaceful country, even if there is no alcohol.
