Major kudos to Keith Jackson for publishing this article on PM O'Neill's theft of $32 million. It's a great service to Papua New Guineans to have it documented.

Bikpela tenkyu tru i go long Kate Lyons (and the Guardian) for her investigative work on this story. Boatloads of appreciation to Kristian Lasslett for doing research on criminal activity that Mr O'Neill has buried for at least three years.

Thank you to Asian Development Bank for bringing it to the light of day. Is anyone in PNG listening? The Post Courier and The National, you need to be independent media sources, not mouthpieces for the government.

I'm thankful Scott Waite has the backbone to shoot straight about PNG government corruption. Please don't mention my name.

I notice the Chinese delegation has brought 10 chefs. Not a bad life style for alleged Communists. It was ever thus once they reach top of heap.

I guess it's because PNG cooks don't know how to cook this new type of food called rice!

It even has Malaysian cooks at logging camps to cook the new product.

I smiled at the sight of Yanks, Chinese, Filipinos bringing their own vehicles as they don't trust Italian cars.

I then thought of the royals of the Netherlands cycling in public since bikes were invented.

Or the lonely onetime PM, Sir Julius Chan, sitting in an empty RSL Club. Couldn't see any security. It was an oyster buffet and he was after dinner speaker.

I also note that US vice president Pence follows the oil industry route of Cairns-Moresby FIFO as he is scared of bed bugs or fleas in a PNG squat.

Ah, the pretentious dignities of the Bildbergers or Davos elites.

Strange though, just like rest of humanity, all they eventually need is a 6ft by 3ft trench.

CJI has 15 Chinese workers on site only one of whom can speak English (just). How did they obtain their work permits?
