Paul Oates

Who will miss us, when we’re gone?
Who will know, what deeds were done?
Our numbers few, and far between,
Our hard won efforts, rarely seen,
Yet as the stone, makes a ripple in the pond,
Those we changed can sometimes respond,
And tell the stories, of what was done,
The hard fought battles, sometimes won,
And now our sun, will soon be set,
But the memories will last, a little while yet.

Ian Hollingsworth
