I watched the Orchids game againts a North Queensland select side, and they were very professional. I think they do well!

Congratulations to the PNG LNG Kumuls. Never saw anything like it from the time Sean Dorney was the Kumuls captain.

Yes, the home ground advantage, the heat and motivation for revenge were some attributes to the Kumuls massive win. But this time, they played real football. No bullying or anything.

But the Kumuls must be wary of the pan pipe playing Brave Hearts of Ireland. To overcome the, they must play the same style of flowing open football to entertain the patriotic crowds both at the stadium and in front of tv screens in the village.

Once we overcome the Brave Hearts, the Eagles no matter how sharp their talons maybe the gentle Bird of Paradise will surely fly over them with its charm and beauty.

I am sure the PNG Orchids will shine too. Their captain is from the land of the rare Dendrobium Engae orchid species. Take this our first and rare opportunity to show the world that rugby league is truly the national sport in PNG.

Coach Dennis Mial for the PNG Orchids should be commended for a job well done. The Orchids will do well, from their preparations so far.

Meanwhile, the PNG Kumuls trashed the Welsh Team 50 - 6 yesterday at the Oil Search National Football stadium, Port Moresby. They will host Ireland next week, then the US Team.

We hope for the Kumuls to win all their Pool C matches against very serious sides before the semis!

We just smashed the Wales!
