Francis continuously put flame in us to write. He helped us so much in editing and publication of our books and without his benevolent heart in literature we would have not come that far.

He deserve total appraisal from our hearts as we continue to write into the future.

Thanks Robin, Phil and Daniel for profound remarks regard Francis.

I wouldn't hesitate in putting Francis up there with the rest of PNG's greats of literature - Russell Soaba et al (and Michael Dom et al of course).

He also qualifies as a literary pioneer I think, especially after his work with the Simbu Writer's Association.

I was 'fortunate to have him' and meet him for the first time last year on our literary tour of Australia.

He is a man worthy of praise, Jimmy.

Well said, Jimmy. I suspect he's blushing profusely having to deal with such high praise.
