Well, Phil, not so inconseque. Propa strengthening of bordas is all the go.

The Minister for International Development and the Pacific, Concetta Fierravanti-Wells and the Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop, have now both been asked questions about the PNG election and both of them have back pedalled rapidly and given us the dismissive platitude we were expecting.

They seem to believe that what happens in PNG is of little interest.

I guess if you are part of a fractured government looking down the barrel of electoral defeat you can't afford to worry about inconsequential things like having a possibly failed state on your doorstep.

Phil,there is no doubt that this election is rigged. It will be interesting if Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull condone the rigging and send roses of accolades to Peter O'Neill.
