Both the PNG and Australian governments failed miserably to address the issue of the Manus Detention Centre after the PNG Supreme Court ruling that it was unlawful.

Now the issue has escalated it is too late to cure since the scare is already in place. Manus is losing miserably in terms of business to attract tourists to the province.

The two governments should do something immediately before the situation gets worse.
