This is the wheel turning a full turn for Robyn Murphy the founder of Canstruct.

In the 1960s, Robyn was Public Works manager in Mt Hagen, later going out on his own as a bridge contractor in the Western Highlands.

Since those days, Canstruct has gone on to be a major player in the Australian construction industry.

The bridges that were washed away were built by Stan 'The Man' Rybaz in the late 1960s/early 1970s. In those days 'The Man' was a recognised bridge building guru.

He was also the subject of a book by an American author. This book, 'The Bridge Builder' may be available on Amazon.

PNG will hopefully find more Garry Juffas to develop the country instead of raping it.
