Let me make the unspoken politics clear:

The Government of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea does not give a rats arse about the situation in West Papua.

Thanks for this article and all the other related websites. I have passed it onto the Sepik Region Development Discussion Forum Facebook group.

One wonders if the Wilmar Group will actually talk to the Sepik land holders or just to the government members.

If the members of parliament for the Sepik and the local police force will allow the company to talk with the true land holders and the people who are trying to make a living from their land, then I feel there will possibly be a better outcome for all involved.
