Wonderful to hear of so much creative art work going on in PNG these days. These are obviously some people who do not worship at the altar of the god, mammon.

Congratulations to the Pacific Islands Society for promoting young artistic talent in the Pacific. Let us hope that their art work will be seen in places of importance like the Parliament House and bring a balance to the place. Realist portraits of local communities would be a good balance for the traditional carvings. May help the politicians to "get real".
