Last month I received a set of postcards from the BBC with this poem as the feature - excellente!

There are many other Pacific poets featured on the 2014 Glasgow Games BBC Poetry postcards.

Their poems can be listened to here:

Also, in case people have not seen this site, the PNG Resources Magazine does a book review of PNG writing here:

Hey Phil, I missed this comment. I hope I can get a copy of that magazine from PNG Resources. Cheers!

The latest issue of 'PNG Resources' magazine (Issue 4/2012) just landed in my letter box Michael.

I flipped to page 154 to see your poem,'Two Reasons why we dig holes'.

For all you other PNG writers, Kristy Moroney, the editor, is saying, "Local writers and photographers are encouraged to submit their work relating to Papua New Guinea's mining, oil and gas sectors for publication in 'PNG Resources' magazine."

She has already run articles about the Crocodile Prize and means what she says.

You can send articles to 'The Editor, PNG Resources Magazine, PO Box 127, Mount Hawthorn WA 6915' or email her at kristy@energy-publications.com.au.
