Property prices in Moresby are a disgrace. Especially when you consider what most people can afford and where they have to live.

Maybe Powes Parkop and other pollies could consider setting up a housing trust fund investing in affordable and decent housing for local people.

An urban renewal project for the benefit of PNG residents, not just foreign investors and realtors. They could also try and resolve legal title issues in the settlements - a cause of many disputes.

PS. Are you sure that picture is of a house in Korobosea? It looks just like my old house at Fort Banner of rampaging mud crab infamy and scene of many mumus and outrageous parties.
