It would be much better to renegotiate the reopening of the Panguna mine with all the parties responsible.

And it would be of great beneficial and environmentally free of destruction if small scale mining is put into consideration rather than exausting looking for large scale mining that will only benefit the resource developers. We dont want the history to repeat itself.

But the need to educate the villagers with regard to resource exploitation is much needed at this time because the mentality that everything that is in the land is for the the landowners, whether inside or on the surface is all collectively owned by the people.

And all resource developers shoud be asked to have enviromental plans before taking action and, above all, leaders must dont look at their feet but rather look beyond the horizon.
