Transparency International PNG says it is “humbled and honoured” to have 110 corporate teams, 80 school teams and five civil society organisations participating in Sunday’s 2011 Against Corruption.
This year the Sir Anthony Siaguru Walk will also be held in the four regional centres of Kokopo, Kimbe, Alotau and Madang.
TIPNG says the strong support from the community means that it has raised K230,000 so far to use in its anti-corruption activities.
The message for this year’s walk is “"Vote against corruption - don't support it, report it!"
Teams will gather at Jack Pidik Park at 5 Mile at 5 am on Sunday 12th for the mass walk which will move along the Hubert Murray Highway, Boroko Drive, Kaubebe Street, Bisini Parade and Lahara Avenue finishing at Jack Pidik Park.
