Bill Eichhorn – entrepreneur and politician

THE HON WILLIAM EICHHORN MBE has died in Angoram Hospital. He was aged about 75.

Bill was a former Member of the House of Assembly, Speaker of the East Sepik Provincial Government and a well-regarded entrepreneur in the Sepik region.

“There was a service in Wewak and Bill was then taken to Korogopa for burial amongst his ancestors,” reports Peter Johnson.

There will be many with memories of Bill and stories to tell. A more detailed tribute will be published in the near future.
