Well done Dr Rowena Martin for your achievements and recent accolades.

I do hope you undertake a major interesting malaria research project sometime in the future in my country.

Malaria is one of the three major killer-diseases of my people at the moment.

Dr Rowena Martin has won another science prize - her third in just four weeks. Last night she took out a 'Tall Poppy' award at the Australian National University in Canberra for her work on the anti-malaria drug chloroquine.

Australian Institute of Policy and Science executive, Elekra Spathopoulos, said Dr Martin was working on the cutting edge of science at a very early stage.
